Margaret Trruman became known due to a negative review in the Washington Post written by Paul Hume. It enraged the singer's father so much that he wrote a letter to the critic saying:
Some day I hope to meet you. When that happens you'll need a new nose, a lot of beefsteak for black eyes, and perhaps a supporter below!".
She sings a selection of American songs and an aria, "Batti, batti" from Don Giovanni. She is accompanied by the Robert Shaw Chorale and conducted by Arthur Fiedler and Robert Shaw.
