Welcome to DCzCDz!
I am issuing a series of 8 privately manufactured CDs tracing the path of my career in music: as boy soprano, as pianist and as baritone. Vocally, I can be heard singing a wide variety of german lieder, opera arias (including three complete operatic roles), liturgical settings, American, British and popular song, vocal chamber music and french mélodie. I have also included concerto, recital and accompanying performances as pianist. All is presented in chronological order.
Of the 160 tracks in the series, only 37 are not live performances. In other words, the majority of the tracks are taken from live concerts and recitals. Some of the sources for these CDs are not of the highest audio quality. Originals can vary from a hand-held Norelco cassette recorder (the Magic Flute and Tosca excerpts) to professional studio production (American Folk Songs and the recital for Radio Netherlands).
